Because of YOUR hard work, commitment and contributions, we always meet or exceed our goals. Together we're supporting the Marines in combat zones by giving them a little something from home.

Summer Fundraising
Each summer we find ourselves short on funds to send care packages overseas to our Marines in August. Our total cost for shipping each August exceeds $13,000. We need your help with the Dollar Campaign! We ask every web site visitor to put a dollar in an envelope and mail it to our corporate office to help us with these shipping costs.
Fall Fundraising
We ship "Happy Birthday Marine" Birthday Boxes in late October or early November each year to arrive in time for the Marine Corps Birthday on November 10. We need your help collecting 1200 hand-written birthday cards for Marines overseas! We also need to collect items for these birthday boxes. Click here to read more about our Birthday Box Campaign.
Winter Fundraising
Help our heroes battle cold weather overseas this season with ready-to-eat Progresso soup. The pop-top soups are a convenient way for our men and women to get a warm, hearty meal. The 19 ounce cans don’t require water, so they can simply be heated and eaten whenever the Marine needs it. The quality ingredients will keep our heroes full and satisfied, while providing them with a little reminder of home.
November Fundraising
Operation Bugle Boy has been held in honor of Leon Deraps at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jefferson City, MO, since 2008. The Veterans that attend donate items for care packages and place them under a Christmas tree in Deraps' honor. These contributions are used to create care packages on our January Care Package Pack Days at the Marine Parents Headquarters in Columbia, MO.
February Fundraising
Every year the Girl Scout troops in Connecticut donate cookies to The Care Package Project™. The Brownies and Girl Scouts work hard to make sure our combat deployed Marines are included in this time-honored American tradition and true taste of home. Each year we aim to raise up to $15,000 to ship 14,400 boxes of cookies to our Marines!
May Fundraising
May is National Military Appreciation Month. To show your support, buy a pair of the best socks for a Marine from Covert Threads and we'll send them in the care packages in June. "The Marines wear the best; let the terrorists wear the rest!"
Ongoing Fundraising
In addition to our seasonal drives, we also have ongoing drives that take place throughout the year. These drives can be found on our Amazon Wish List page. The items on our wish list are items to be sent in care packages on our closest packing day. These items ship for free to our warehouse, so you don’t have to worry about shipping charges. With just a few clicks you can ensure that Marines are getting the items they need!
